The course was very insightful for me with no background in growth design and has provided me meaningful frameworks to apply in my own practice.

As a designer at a marketing agency, I knew this course would lean more toward product design than my daily work. Still, after listening to Sera's Conscious Tech podcast for a while, I had a good feeling about it and decided to sign up. Sera packed a ton into this course! Between the recorded lessons and live sessions, there was a great balance of pre-recorded lectures, applying what was learned, and discussions with other designers in the cohort. What set the course apart, though, was Sera’s framing of conscious growth design. She consistently brought in a systems-thinking perspective, encouraging us to think beyond short-term gains and consider long-term impact, sustainability, and ethics. In a time when the tech industry is moving fast, these conversations are especially relevant. I’ll be bringing the lessons learned into my work, especially when I need to make a clearer case for how design creates business value and long-term impact. I’d recommend this to any designer looking to sharpen their strategy skills.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the course. I’ve rewatched the recordings and lectures multiple times, taking detailed notes along the way. Sera is an inspiring and thoughtful leader in growth and sustainability. I especially appreciated the interactive workshops—they were incredibly helpful in expanding my thinking and encouraging a more divergent mindset.
