Sash Mohapatra spent 20 years at Microsoft, moving from customer engineering to Director of AI Sales. He led cloud and ML adoption for Fortune 500 clients. After being laid off in 2023, he used AI to navigate his own career transition and built a system for doing it well.

Now he runs riftlab.ai, where he publishes the Rift Dispatch newsletter and consults for companies on AI adoption - training teams, building agents and helping leaders navigate the AI revolution.

AI Orchestration For Knowledge Work: Certification by Riftlab

This seminal and well structured course helped me spruce up my (outdated) AI knowledge, now at par with a fairly well versed AI practitioner of today. As a new joiner at an AI ready firm, I was anxious about my gaps in knowledge. This course got me right back up with its generous and thorough exploration of concepts, especially systems thinking, agentic orchestration and data organisation, along with toolage and frameworks. Really glad I took this one. Sash did a great job breaking down AI in a way that's actually practical and useful to your personal life and work right away. The course is set up really well week by week. You start with prompt writing (which sounds basic but there's a real art to it), then you move into orchestration, and eventually you're building agents. Sash really takes the time to explain concepts and since the class size is small, he is able to give personal attention. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to go beyond just chatting with AI and actually make it work for them.

The course helped to create a mindset which creates a distinction among other people how to think about AI and what is the right approach to utilize the AI. The course taught me the skills which can be used to multiple tools. The course was not only about how to use Claude however it was about how to have a proper mindset using multiple LLM tools
