Lisa Peyton AI Professor, Practitioner, and Pioneer

I started my career at Intel, and I've spent the years since working at the intersection of marketing, communications, and emerging technology. Today I teach AI for Strategic Marketing and Communications as full-time faculty at the University of Oregon's School of Journalism and Communication.

I also run LP Consulting, serving as Fractional Chief AI Officer for B2B tech and SaaS clients working through real AI integration.

I write for Forbes and MarTech.org, sit on the Forbes Communications Council, and host monthly public AI meetups where marketing and comms pros ask the questions they can't ask in front of their own teams. I test models, publish the results, and bring what I learn straight into my consulting practice and my classroom.

Professor. Practitioner. Pioneer.

My biggest reflection: AI is not a replacement for marketers—it’s a capability multiplier. Used thoughtfully, it helps teams spend less time on manual execution and more time on strategy, creativity, and customer insights. Excited to continue exploring how AI can strengthen content marketing and revenue growth.

Lisa's class was informative, especially on current AI trends and news that seems to be ever-changing. The course provided ideas on how to leverage AI for content writing and various strategies that I can use in my work as a content writer in higher education. In addition, the class was a welcoming community of learners.

This course is an absolute must for both content marketing newbies and veterans — if you aren't leveraging AI in your work, you're falling behind, and Lisa shows you how to get back on track. The only watch out: there's so much content, allow yourself sufficient time to get through it all properly.

Invaluable course. Lisa provides a wealth of resources that you have lifetime access to, as well as class discussions are robust as you learn from others' experiences. Don't hesitate to take this class; you might feel a bit overwhelmed with the breadth of information, but it's in a good way.
