Alumni reviews
This course was valuable step in making the transition from a general AI user who cares about sustainability to an AI sustainability leader equipped with knowledge and skills to help drive organizational change. Finishing the course with a responsible AI climate plan draft is a huge win. It's already becoming foundational to my thinking moving forward.

Pascal’s course gave me a solid starting point to go deeper into Sustainable AI and approach it from a research lens. It’s an area I’ve been consistently drawn to. I tend to think in systems, so the structure of the course clicked for me. Each session was followed by project based assignments, which made it practical rather than just theoretical.
The content goes into detail on emissions and, more importantly, the levers available to reduce them.
I’d recommend this to anyone working across AI, product, or infrastructure who wants to go beyond awareness and actually apply sustainability thinking in real systems.

Great course -- loaded with insights that are useful for both sustainability and product teams on how to design for reduced impact and performance simultaneously.

Pascal Joly’s Sustainable AI course is valuable. The material covers why and how AI drives environmental problems and explores technical approaches to measuring and improving sustainability. There is a practical emphasis that proved immediately useful. Pascal’s expertise and ability to explain make all the difference. My only suggestion for improvement is to add one more week to the timeline so there is more space and time for discussion. In the case of this class, more is definitely better.
